In this section we will give you a brief description of the technical architecture of the Stats4all.com system and the development tools we use.

First we like to mention that the Stats4all.com system was designed to give the most optimal performance and high availability for a very large number of accounts. At every design decision, performance and high availability has always been the number one reason to implement a feature. The system is scaled to support more than 500.000 accounts and 100.000.000 hits a day.

Stats4all.com is designed as a highly scalable system. This means that as the load of the system increases we can easily add more webservers and database-servers to our web-farm without any downtime or user inconvenience.

The Stats4all.com system was primarily developed with Microsoft Technology. Its software architecture is based on a three-tier model: the Stats4all.com website resides on a Microsoft Internet Information Server, accessing a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database through Microsoft Transaction Server (using COM+) which manages our Stats4all.com Business components. All servers are running Microsoft Windows 2000.
